"Sansara - Rebirth of Lineage 2 Essence"
๐๏ธ [Intro]
We’ve done massive work on the Sansara project and significantly improved our beloved game. In this text, I’ll explain exactly what we’ve done, what we’ve changed, what we’ve added — and most importantly, why. So that you can more easily navigate all the innovations and clearly understand: each of them solves a specific problem faced by thousands of players.

๐๏ธ [Block 1 - Interface: Convenience and Optimization]
Let’s start with the interface — the thing you see and feel every day.
Previously, the mail system allowed a maximum of 8 items per message. We removed this limitation. Now you can send as many items as you want. We also added a mail item search function — just like the inventory one.

Another new feature — built-in next-target in auto-combat. Players no longer need macro mice or keyboards. No more hassle with the inability to minimize the window. We’ve integrated convenience directly into the client.

We dug deep into the client and found the root cause of excessive GPU load. The result? Four graphic presets optimized for the best balance between visuals and performance. Even during tests, players noticed how much smoother the client became.


We also added extensive functionality for displaying skill animations and triggers. You can configure:
- display of skills from whoever is hitting you;
- display of skills from your party members;
- display of skills from your target;
- display of skills from the person healing your target.

Additionally, we added the "optimization uniform" button — it enables simplified armor visuals for all nearby characters. A great solution to boost FPS when needed.


๐๏ธ [Block 2 - Collections and Customization]
Collections are an important part of game balance, and we didn’t remove them — just made them more convenient. You can now loot chests with a random closed collection. Moreover, there’s an alternative: any collection that used to be available only through the store can now be completed with Adena — directly through the collection interface. No more standing for hours at the shop looking for a specific item.

In addition, the new patch brings a character customization system. Players now have access to a sleek and functional interface, where they can:
- Choose a weapon appearance and preview how it looks at different enchantment levels (important because the look depends on the enchant level);
- Select a monster finishing animation;
- Apply a nickname effect that makes your name glow beautifully in chat.




Also available is the blessing of ordinary cloaks. Upon success, the cloak gets one of 20 unique visuals. The cloak itself grants 1 out of 15 random bonuses to gained experience.

๐๏ธ [Block 3 - DKP and Party Management]
DKP System. This is a separate and very complex task. We studied all the best practices and recreated the best possible version of them.
(Thanks to our friends—competition brings progress and development!)
The result is a very convenient, customizable, and highly automated system.
And what about party and command channel formation? We know how tiresome it is for every CL or Raid Leader.
On Sansara, this is done with a single button. All registered characters receive parallel invites—simultaneously.
All groups are invited to the command channel at once. It’s incredibly convenient.


๐๏ธ [Block 4 - Praise and Emotions]
Everyone has had moments in the game where they wanted to praise or roast someone.
Maybe an enemy charges in for revenge and dies. Or a friend accidentally uses Opal while running.
We added a praise feature—like in Dota, but with text.
There are four options to choose from, selected by our Discord community.
It’s a great way to hype up an ally or troll an enemy. Your praise or sarcasm will be seen server-wide!
We want you to feel emotions again.

๐๏ธ [Block 5 - Classes and Balance]
Now let’s talk about classes. How many characters have been reworked over the past year? Let’s recap:
- BD and TK
- Tyrants
- Summoners
- Bishops
- Overlords and Warcryers
- New class: Wolf
- Dagger classes (TH, AW, PW)
- New class: Rose Vain
And many minor changes for classes like DK, Sylphs, Assassins, EE and SE.
All of these updates are implemented on Sansara. New classes are adapted, balanced, and ready to play.
Of course, we haven’t forgotten about the rest. We strive to make every class interesting for progression.

๐๏ธ [Block 6 – New Locations and Epic Bosses]
We’ve added a lot of new locations. We’ve collected and adapted the most beautiful and exciting ones — most Essence players have never even seen them. It’s going to be an amazing experience.

As for epic bosses — we’re aware of the common “turtle” issue: clans piling tightly on the boss and becoming unkillable. We’ve added mechanics that completely reset this strategy. Now, epic fights will be dynamic, tactical, and most importantly — fun.
๐๏ธ [Block 7 – Anti-Corpse Spam]
We’ve addressed the issue of endless PvP suicide waves. On official servers, death costs money, so people value their characters. But on free servers, coins drop from mobs, making death practically free.
We implemented two versions of debuffs. After dying in PvP, you get a level 1 debuff for 1 minute. If you die again within that minute, the debuff intensifies. At level 5, respawn will only be available after 30 seconds. That means your party or clan will be without you for half a minute.

๐๏ธ [Block 8 – Solo Bosses and Doll Collection]
We’ve added 10 new solo bosses. Their uniqueness lies in the materials they drop — you can use them to close older doll collections. But they’re not as easy to access as regular bosses. They appear on the map, but you can’t teleport to them. They spawn once every 4-hour frame. Want a boost? Start hunting.

Other solo bosses will also be rebalanced — their drop tables will be reviewed. We actively monitor competitive content and keep it engaging.
๐๏ธ [Block 9 – Skill Coins and Skill Books]
We’ve introduced a new item: Skill Coin. You can use them to create 1*, 2*, and 3* skill books in a special crafting system — either with chance or guaranteed. You can get Skill Coins from epic bosses, solo bosses, the battle pass, and the calendar. Play actively — progress faster.

๐๏ธ [Block 10 – Leveling and Flexibility]
We’ve removed level restrictions from all starting quests. Now, players can choose: complete quests on high-level monsters or grind on spots. Flexibility and variety are key principles of Sansara.

๐๏ธ [Block 11 - Dungeons and Rankings]
We have added a unique PvE dungeon — Dimensional Warp. Over 30 floors, with difficulty increasing at each level. Time is limited. Go solo or in a group. Whoever climbs the highest will receive rewards at the end of the period.

The game will also feature a PvE ranking — not only for PvP and gear score but also for achievements in Dimensional Warp.

More new dungeons will be added: Krofin's Nest, Octavis' Temple. We’re constantly preparing new content.


๐๏ธ [Block 12 - PvP: Festival of Chaos]
For PvP lovers — the Festival of Chaos. An anonymous showdown: nicknames are hidden, and everyone has a chance. Every 10–15 minutes, the system launches a battle on several random arenas with 8–16 players. The last one standing wins, but kill counts also award points. At the end of the period — powerful rewards.

Unique abilities are available in the arena:
- Invulnerability for 5 seconds
- Invisibility for 30 seconds
- Pull (similar to tank's chain)
- Lethal hit with a 50% chance to leave the target at minimum HP
๐๏ธ [Block 13 - For the Weary]
For those who are overwhelmed by too many activities. Or those who feel their ganks might have made too many enemies — we offer an alternative leveling zone. Every day, you can enter the Dream Dungeon for 5 hours, close your client, and train your hits on a special dummy. You will earn a decent amount of XP/SP, adena, and L-coins, proportional to your level and the time spent inside.

๐๏ธ [Block 14 - Hero Book]
In some hunting zones, you can now find Tales of Dimensions. These can be used to level up the Hero Book — upon reaching certain levels, you gain:
- bonuses to PvP and PvE damage
- defense bonuses
- increased Adena drop
- increased L-coin limit
- as well as HP/MP/CP and other bonuses


This will cost a considerable amount of Adena, but the bonuses are worth it! Ultimately, characters who don’t invest in progression will fall far behind in farming efficiency and speed.
๐๏ธ [Block 15 - Game Values Market: Play to Earn]
The black market is one of the reasons Lineage still thrives. Many players find value in this, and we see no reason to fight or prohibit it. On the Sansara server, players can legally list items for sale for trade balance.
There are no restrictions on our marketplace. Want to play for profit? Go ahead — and no fear of bans. And naturally, the fees are lower than on a certain very popular “fun” platform.

๐๏ธ [Final - Project Concept]
We understand: to keep a project alive, it must evolve. Sansara is not a “one-patch” server. It’s a constantly developing project with ongoing balancing, drop control, stat and economy adjustments, and boosting. Changes will be frequent. Every voice and suggestion will be heard. Forget stagnation.

Sansara is low rate. We’ll make progression less tedious, but the road to late-game will be gradual. And in the endgame — true euphoria awaits: unique items with multi-level development, new skills, and the most exciting PvP in Essence.
Characters will differ not just by boost but also by build. One class — many variations. Your experience, skills, and creativity will decide everything.

Symphony of Destruction – AoE attack skill. Has 11 levels. Cooldown differs in PvP (10 sec) and PvE (5 sec).

Symphony of Chaos – ranged magical attack with 4 levels. Deals damage and reduces P. Atk. and M. Atk. by 40%.

We’re also working on new skills that temporarily enhance party members.

Rose Vine: % damage from the flower no longer applies to monsters or other PvE targets, remains only in PvP. Now a magic attack with Power 110.
Added a positive effect for Class 1.
Rose and Dagger: adjusted Combat Power level required to activate the skill.

Blade Spirit: skill stats increased.
Blade Rush: power increased.
Blade Wave: power and number of targets increased (including when enhanced). If no additional targets nearby, deals increased damage to a single target.
Blade Wave: Challenger: power and number of targets increased. Deals increased damage to a single target if no other targets are nearby.
Ultimate Rising Attack: now only considers two conditions โ melee or ranged. Power increased.
Amazing Rising Attack: now hits the target twice instead of once.

LP gained from auto-attacks reduced by 50%.
Sacred Guardian: added 5-minute cooldown.
LP no longer charges when summoning clone.
Wing Leap: success rate reduced to 60%.

Festival of Chaos
Festival of Chaos is an exciting PvP event on the Lineage 2 Essence (Sansara) server, where every player becomes both hunter and prey. In this event, participants fight in a free-for-all arena format, showcasing their survival skills, tactics, and combat prowess.
Participation Rules
- Number of Participants: Unlimited.
Each arena hosts 18 players. - Appearance Concealment:
- Characters' appearances are hidden.
- Gear Score, clan affiliation, and alliance information are not visible.
- Players do not know who their opponents are until direct confrontation.
- Victory Points:
- The winner is the last player remaining in the arena.
- Killing another player grants 1 point.
- If more than one player remains at the end, the winner is determined by kill count.
- If kill counts are equal, the match ends in a draw.
- Arena Winner's Prize: The winner receives 10 points for survival plus bonus points for kills.
- Post-Battle Buff: After the event ends, all participants receive a temporary buff for 5 minutes:
- +100% to Physical Attack.
- +400% to Magic Attack.
Ranking System
- Festival of Chaos Period: One week.
- Determining the Winner:
- The player with the highest number of points becomes the winner of the Festival of Chaos.
- If points are equal, the player with the higher character level wins.
- If levels are also equal, the winner is chosen randomly from the top contenders.
Winner Rewards
- Visual Glow Effect: The winner receives a unique visual glow visible to all players on the server.
- Personal Reward: The winner receives a special prize (such as a rare item or unique opportunity).
- Clan Bonus: The winner's clan receives a special buff for the next event period, enhancing the clan's effectiveness in various gameplay aspects.
Preparing for Battle
To survive in the arena, use the following strategies:
- Don’t reveal yourself immediately — observe other players’ behavior first.
- Avoid open spaces, especially if you're unsure of your combat potential.
- Target weaker opponents for attacks.
- Use the environment and arena mechanics to your advantage.

Concept
On Sansara, your journey begins precisely where you thought it had ended.
The concept of late-game low-rate means one thing:
you’ll reach what normally takes months — top gear, “endgame” content — very quickly.
But here, that’s just the prologue.
Then the real experience begins:
custom abilities, new items,
unique quests, progression systems, and zones you’ve never seen before.
All of this unfolds within a carefully balanced PvP environment,
where characters have greater flexibility,
and victory isn’t just about gear — it's about your tactics, build, and mind.
We believe:

We don’t sell balance. At all. To anyone.
The server features a unique incentive system for Clan Leaders and streamers — without granting any in-game power.
Player Marketplace with Withdrawal Support
Real-money trading (RMT) is officially allowed — via a secure balance in your account panel.
Our system lets you withdraw earnings directly to a crypto wallet through our own processing solution.

Dimensional Rift
Spatial Rift is an instance for players level 85 and above, where you must overcome 35 platforms by defeating mobs and battling unique bosses. Each floor presents a distinct challenge that requires coordination, strategy, and quick decision-making.
Entry Rules
- Level Requirement: Minimum character level — 85.
- Party Size: From 1 to 5 players.
- Entry Fee: 3 Warp Crystals for the base mode.
- Mode Selection: Before entering, you can choose one of three modes via the entrance NPC:
- Mode 1: Cost — 12 Warp Crystals. Chance of extra "Imp" mobs — 5%.
- Mode 2: Cost — 240 Warp Crystals. Chance of extra "Imp" mobs — 10%.
- Mode 3: Cost — 1200 Warp Crystals. Chance of extra "Imp" mobs — 15%.
Imps offer valuable rewards but can significantly increase the floor's difficulty.
Progression System
- Floors:
- Total of 35 platforms.
- You must defeat all mobs on a platform to activate the portal to the next floor.
- Unique bosses appear on floors 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, and 35.
- Missions & Floor Skips:
- Clearing floors 5, 10, 15, 20, and 25 completes missions and grants rewards.
- After clearing these floors, you can teleport to floors 6, 11, 16, 21, or 26 to skip intermediate stages.
- Traps & Bonus Areas:
- Some floors may contain traps that apply negative effects (e.g., reduced speed, damage, or HP).
- Healing zones may appear, restoring HP when entered.
- Special areas may spawn salamander mobs — optional enemies that provide extra EXP.
- Timer:
- Initial time limit — 15 minutes.
- Each cleared floor adds 3 minutes to the timer.
- Progress Reset: All progress resets every Monday.
Rewards
- Floor Completion: Players receive unique items, experience, and resources for clearing mission floors (5, 10, 15, 20, 25).
- Boss Victories: Unique trophies, rare materials, and special rewards.
- Imp Kills: Valuable rewards, including rare items and valuables.
Ranking System
The ranking is determined by the following criteria:
- Number of Cleared Floors: Players who clear more floors rank higher.
- Time on Last Successful Floor: Faster completion of the last cleared floor means a higher rank.
- Character Level: If floor count and time are equal, the player with more EXP on their level gets priority.
Instance Features
- Difficulty: Mobs and bosses become stronger as you progress.
- Strategy: Success depends on smart role distribution, class synergy, and attention to traps.
- Coordination: Party play is highly recommended to handle large waves and powerful bosses effectively.

New Collection System on Sansara!
We’ve completely reworked the Collection mechanics, making them more exciting and rewarding!
๐ Collection Chests
You can now obtain a Random Collection Chest, which grants one of four chests of varying rarity when opened:
- ๐ฆ Common Collection — 46.3%
- ๐ฆ Standard Collection — 36.2%
- ๐ฆ Advanced Collection — 16.3%
- ๐ฆ Top-Tier Collection — 1.2%
Each of these chests contains a unique item that unlocks a fully completed collection. No need to gather pieces anymore — everything at once!
You can obtain these chests from:
- completing missions
- boss drops
- loot boxes
- events
- random craft
- or purchasing them for Ancient Adena in the special shop
Already completed? — No problem! Duplicate collections can be used in random crafting to try your luck again!
๐งธ Changes to Doll Collections
We’ve also updated part of the doll-related collections. They are now completed using Doll Fragments — special items initially available only from new solo bosses.
